What are the stages of ritual/symbolism/religion to people participating in Ayahusca? We have a separation of medicine and religion but Ayahusca is both a spiritual and medical process. What are the pros/cons to the relationship of medical and religious rituals. Do you agree or disagree with this documentary and Turner’s work on rituals? What parts did you find interesting? The Ayahuasca ritual is an Amazonian religious ceremony that involves the use of the Ayahuasca, a psychoactive brew that is made from a combination of Bannisteriosis caapi vine and the Psychotria viridis leaf. In addition to its use for spiritual purpose, the brew is also used for a series of other purposes such as diagnosis and treatment of various ailments, hunting, warfare, divination and as sexual stimulant……………………………..
