This assessment requires you to apply your critical thinking skills to address real-world problems by reviewing scenarios and proposing well-considered solutions.

Read and select a scenario:
Three workplace scenarios are provided. Each scenario presents a problem or challenge that requires thoughtful analysis and a strategic approach to resolve.
Choose 1 of the scenarios to focus on for this assessment.
Assessment Deliverable
Imagine you work at the company in the scenario you selected. You want to help those involved use critical thinking skills to identify and resolve the challenges.
After you review the scenario and consider the issues, write an email in which you use critical thinking skills to:
Describe the problem.
Explain the practical impact of the problem.
Propose 3 different ways to solve the problem.
Identify which solution you think is the best.
Explain why it’s a good choice for that workplace.
Be sure to read the sample email before you create your own.
Your email should be organized as follows:
Salutation or Greeting
Problem Identification (50–100 words)
Clearly describe the problem and key challenges presented in the scenario.
Practical Impact (50–100 words)
Explain how this problem affects the workplace, the company, and its employees.
Three Solutions (75–150 words)
Propose 3 different ways to address the problem. Ensure each solution is practical, relevant to the scenario, and briefly explained.
Best Solution and Rationale (150–250 words)
Identify the solution you believe is most effective for the workplace in question and provide reasoning or evidence to support your decision.
Closing
Conclude your email professionally, summarizing your key points and expressing readiness to discuss further if needed.
Ensure your email is well-organized, clear, and free from grammatical errors.
Cite any sources in APA format. Giving proper credit to your sources builds your credibility with your audience and ensures academic and professional honesty and integrity. APA is one format used to cite sources. Don’t worry about perfection.
