Action Research and Participatory Methods: DSP Chapter 1 Applications
After completing the evaluation of your self-selected research article using Action Research and Participatory Methods for Case 2, draft the following sections of Chapter 1 – Introduction, using your proposed DSP topic of interest in a 3- to 4-page paper:
Problem Statement
Purpose Statement
Research Questions and Hypotheses
Theoretical or Conceptual Framework
Significance [Rationale] of the Study
SLP 1 Feedback: Good job on SLP 1 where you started the process of developing your DSP Chapter 1. You showed good critical thinking skills in developing your problem statement, purpose statement, research questions and hypotheses, theoretical/conceptual framework and significance of the study.
A couple items to discuss though. For your theoretical/conceptual framework you mentioned organization theory (you will want to be specific as there are different types of organization theory). Also, your project will be quite involved since you are trying to tackle the workflow inefficiencies and readiness compliance in US Army medical units. Is there a way to isolate to a a particular type of US Army Medical Units (think of it like instead of trying to study all chronic diseases you focus on type II diabetes).
