This assignment is part 1 of your term project. For this assignment, you will identify a market and organization as the basis of your formal marketing plan. The following sections should be included in this assignment, for a total of approximately 2-3 pages:
Executive summary
Briefly explain the purpose of a marketing plan. Include statistical data that supports using a formalized marketing plan to drive strategic growth. Note: This section will be edited in Week 6 to be more comprehensive.
Summarize the market and organization/facility for your plan.
Be sure to include the location, general population audience, and organization type (profit or non-profit). Target audience will be specifically addressed in the Week 2 assignment.
Provide and briefly explain data on the market demographics
Examples include: population density, number of competitors, economic status of the market area, health disparities, etc. Use of charts and graphs are encouraged to illustrate this data.
APA Requirements: Title and reference pages, in-text citations, three to five references – scholarly and editorial are acceptable. Formatting and design elements may be used to make your document visually appealing but should be professional and not detract from a clean appearance.
