Look up two articles from a newspaper, magazine, or other format of reporting CURRENT events that
includes an issue involving the nervous system, special senses, circulatory, or respiratory systems. **This
should be a news article from within the past couple months, not a scholarly journal article.
1) For each article, provide one paragraph summarizing the events occurring within the article.
Write this in your own words. Do not directly copy and paste from the article.

2) For the second paragraph, identify how the issue directly involves either one or more of the
nervous system, special sense, circulatory, or respiratory systems. (Example: disease that
impacts the nervous system, plus details involving the anatomy and physiology) Be sure to give
me details on how this system is affected. DO NOT just state “it effects the nervous system.”

3) Then, identify 5 medical terms either stated within the article, or alluded to within the article.
Define each of the terms and provide pronunciations of the words.
(5 terms/article, 1 point per term = 10 points)
