Conduct a non-intrusive “breaching experiment”, wherein you attempt to validate the existence of a particular norm, but violates the social norm laws. This may include singing on the bus, sitting in an elevator, not talking to anyone for a day, or any other unusual activity that is legal and appropriate.
Part 2:
In a 2 FULL page paper describe your experiment in detail, and report people’s reactions to your behavior. Also, describe how your observations and experiment relate to the study of social problems and what did you personally gain from stepping outside of your comfort zone. Papers should be written appropriately in 12 pt. font. Times New Roman. Double Spaced.
