For this post, you will interview an elder family member who migrated to the United States from another country or an elder family member who migrated from the South to another region in the United States.

Reimagining Migration and ask your interview participant at least one question from each of the four prompts. Analyze your participant’s responses and consider how their narrative relates to our readings on Black families. Be sure to share a brief summary of your interview participant’s responses. If you do not have a family member that migrated, you are welcome to ask a family friend or other associate.
