As a student have you ever received feedback on an assignment that left you with more questions than answers

As a student have you ever received feedback on an assignment that left you with more questions than answers? Have you ever received feedback that was clear, detailed, and showed you a well-defined path to improvement? When compared, how did each type of feedback make you feel?
Vague or minimal feedback can be frustrating to students and does not position them for success. In contrast, effective feedback is specific, constructive, measurable, and delivered with sensitivity. In this assignment you practice providing actionable feedback so that your online students have a clear path to improvement.
To Prepare:
Review the Learning Resource titled “Writing Feedback: Advice From Faculty to Faculty.”
Provide actionable feedback to students for each of the following scenarios:
Scenario 1: Despite showing much potential early in the course, Paul has only demonstrated minimal effort in his last few assignments. It seems he is content with just barely getting by. Write a private message to Paul. Your aim is to motivate Paul to better reach his potential and help him get on track toward a high grade.
Scenario 2: Your students’ discussion board posts and responses are getting stale. They are increasingly terse and lack depth. Write an announcement to the entire class. Your aim is to increase students’ level of engagement with the material and encourage interaction amongst students.
Scenario 3: Rowena submitted the final draft of her essay. There was marginal improvement but she clearly did not incorporate any of the feedback you provided on her first draft. Write a grading comment that will appear along with her letter grade. Your aim is to offer Rowena clear feedback that explicitly states your expectations and how to achieve them on the next assignment.
Label each of your feedback responses, and submit all three as a paper entitled “Actionable Feedback.”
