Students will use a minimum of 2 theories presented in class to identify a plan to increase adherence to a physical activity program the University of Winnipeg offers. Students may select any program that is nota team and does not have try outs. Students are encouraged to look at what that program currently does to ensure retention, and even attend and see the program in action. Students will provide a 3–4-page plan of what they feel that program should be doing to maximize their retention and adherence and reference their suggestions with peer reviewed articles. Students may NOT use articles provided in the readings. You may not use the same program as you used for the Promotion Paper

IMP: Please use topics like Zumba program at the university, Total body workout program, yoga program or any other programs mentioned at https://recreationservices.uwinnipeg.ca/Program/GetProducts. Before you begin please let me know what topic you are going to use.

Requirements:

Some theories we discussed in class are: Determination Theory, Social Cognitive Theories, Self Efficacy Theory, Stimulus- Response Theory, positive stimulus.
