Some common approaches that I’ve seen organizations do to make improvements to decreasing substance abuse in low-income communities is shifting a focus to mental health and partnering up with different agencies to spread awareness of mental health and how that is a common link to substance abuse. The services of reaching out to community members and offering jobs that revolve around community organizing and simplifying the requirements to get healthcare; will help in bringing in money and and opportunity (jobs) to the people of the community.
I think an advancement of a predictive analysis may help in telemedicine and healthcare organizations can use a predictive analysis to assist in advising patients for non-severe and “more common” health issues so that when patients require “specific” assistance; a healthcare professional would be more “available” to assist them.
