Documented Essay
  • For this paper “Documented Essay” you will use both primary and secondary sources. (The primary source is the play itself in your textbook. Secondary sources are analyses and criticism written by others, such as the short article on pages 1288-1294, and the biographical material provided by Kelly J. Mays, the editor of The Norton Introduction to Literature.) The paper should be 500-700 words in length. The number of works cited should be between two and five, and the essay itself should be typed in MLA Format and carefully proofread.
