There are many ways quality of care can be tracked. One that stands out the most to me is patient satisfaction surveys. When i was a regional healthcare manager at a few facilities, I “revamped” the patient satisfactory surveys by using different questions that are more affiliated with the patient’s experience and with how advanced we have become, i created a QR code that could be scanned electronically by any type of device that had a camera which enabled patients to access the survey quicker as well as made it more convenient. Of course, I kept paper copies for patients who did not have access to electronic devices or preferred to fill out the survey through paper copy. Patient satisfaction surveying and all of its benefits will help lead to better performance of a practice with increased quality of care delivered, increased patient fulfillment, and ultimately – more patient referrals. Ensuring that your patients are satisfied is the keystone to successfully operating and growing your practice (Chuck, 2022). This is the type of quality metric that would be most beneficial with not only my health care service, but all health care services. It provides the opportunity to show the organization where their strengths and weaknesses are and give the organization the ability to improve.
