The LIFE Center currently has seven different job titles: Administrative Director of Community Health and Wellness, Assistant Manager of the LIFE Center, Fitness Coordinator, LIFE Center Service Representative, Lifeguard, Fitness Database Specialist, Group Fitness Instructor, and Wellness Operations Manager. Each job title will require a different amount of employees. For example, there will only be one Administrative Director of Community Health and Wellness who will be over the LIFE Centers and the community health and wellness role. Then the LIFE Center Service Representative will require more since they will be running the front desk and the fitness floors. This job will require 25 employees.
Companies should focus on training, onboarding, and recruitment and retention other than salary, benefits, and expenses. Onboarding new employees and providing tools for ongoing growth are essential investments for businesses, and HR is responsible for maintaining a developmental mindset (Boundless Business, n.d.). Providing tools for employees to grow and continuously focus on their evolution is vital to maintaining retention. Companies that do not focus on their employees and make people feel wanted and appreciated will not keep people in their jobs.
