According to the book II, “Consolation of Philosophy”, the main difference between Philosophy and Fortune is the nature. Philosophy is well behaved and he has a kind heart of giving Boethius advice on the good things. For instance, Philosophy explains to Boethius how his imagination has distorted his mind. Conversely, Fortune is a two faced person. Her mission is to take what is good from Boethius and pretends how good he is while in the real sense she is not. In addition, Fortune pretends to be a good friend while in the real sense he is not a good friend at all. Fortune keeps on changing her behavior to show how good she is but in the real sense she is full of evil deeds (Boethius & Green, 2002)…………..
