For this assignment, you will be placed (virtually) in a real-world scenario that occurs in work settings. Please read the following description of the authentic performance task and complete the requirements as described in the scenario.
Write a 850 word essay addressing each of the following points/questions. Be sure to completely answer all the questions for each part. Separate each section in your paper with a clear heading that allows your professor to know which bullet you are addressing in that section of your paper. Support your ideas with at least three (3) citations in your essay. Make sure to reference the citations using the APA writing style for the essay. The cover page and reference page do not count towards the minimum word amount.
Scenario (page 224)
A 17-year-old female student begins to demonstrate signs of depression and irritability. She begins to spend more and more time alone in her room. She continually comes home later than she is supposed to. Several weeks later, her mother receives a phone call from the school when her daughter is found having convulsions on the restroom floor. The mother is instructed to go to the local hospital, where her daughter has been transported by ambulance. After several tests and verifying that the patient has had no history of epilepsy, the physician acknowledges that the girl has been using cocaine.
