Literature Review – Identify existing resources

Your literature review is the most critical element of the preparation for your thesis. You will begin your research this week by examining and identifying existing resources in the literature that will support your thesis topic and how it is tied to the field of human services.

Objectives and Learning Outcomes:

Students demonstrate the use of basic search concepts by developing search strategies and a list of useful keywords and subject terms.

Students demonstrate the ability to use appropriate indexes/search engines and use a mix of basic and advanced searching techniques

Students demonstrate a willingness to pursue alternate search avenues
