The critical race theory can be identified as a movement by some scholars and activists who are interested in transforming and studying the relationship between racism, race, and power (Pomper, 2005). The theory considers a vast number of issues taken up by the civil right conventions and ethnic studies discourses. In adopting this model, scholars aim at understanding how the victims of racism are directly affected by the cultural perceptions based on race and how they can sustain themselves with the enhancement to counter prejudice.
