The goal of this week’s assignment is to provide an opportunity for you to personalize your learning experience in this course. Chapters 8-13 each examine different types of facilities (stadiums, arena, fitness/recreation facilities, parks and sports plex management, multi-use high school facilities, and multi-use college facilities.) Select one chapter that is of the most interest to you and explore that topic for this assignment.
Students can work in pairs or individually for this project. If you want to work as a pair, it is your responsibility to find a partner.
Prepare an in-depth, PowerPoint summary presentation of the 3-5 main topics of the chapter that you’ve chosen. The PowerPoint should be used in the video presentation. As part of the PowerPoint and presentation, provide at least two examples of specific facilities that fit within the facility category. Describe each of these facilities and an examine of their strengths and weaknesses during the presentation.
Online students will submit their PowerPoint file and a video of their presentation.
