This week you will be learning more about the nature of critical thinking.  In addition, you will be writing and submitting Paper #1 Issue Exploration.  The following checklist should help you to stay organized and focused on your online assignments.

 

Week 3 – Checklist

  1. View the Week 3 Video Announcement or Read the Week 3 announcement transcript.

 

  1. Read Chapter 1 in Asking the Right Questions (ARQ).

 

  1. View the presentation titled The Benefits and Social Aspects of Critical Thinking.

 

  1.  Write and submit your Paper #1 Issue Exploration.  For this assignment you will be selecting an issue to explore, watching a video about the issue and finding an article that is related to the issue.  Then you will develop a paper in which you discuss the issue, your position on the issue, and the importance of the issue in society by responding to a number of prompts.  You will be submitting the paper using the Assignment tool in the Week 3 section of the TITANium site.  Please submit your paper by 11:59pm on the due date listed in the Course Calendar.
