I think that the most important rhetorical tool for speaking are Aristotle\’s 3 basic tools of persuasion. I think that these are the most important because it goes over every aspect of speaking such as ethos (credibility), pathos (emotions), and logos (logic). Language is so important for public speaking because that is the way you communicate. Without these strategies and differences in language every speech was be plain and uninteresting.

What rhetorical or language tool do I think is the most important? I would have to say being specific is the best tool because when you are specific in what you are presenting then people will not have to ask too many questions because you have covered almost everything which is great seeing as if there are too many questions then that is a sign you haven\’t really proved your point.
When asking the question of why language is so important for persuasive speaking it first comes off as obvious at first but going in-depth about the different languages we have learned in our lecture we can see there are intricacies to it. Things like objectiveness and specificity are things you must try to do when doing a persuasive speech as it helps you form your speech easier.
