Who knew that an African American kid from Hampton, Virginia would leave such an everlasting impact on a stage so commercial? Who knew that he would grow up to influence the entire NBA during his era and the eras to precede him? Allen Iverson would be the man to staple the Hip Hop culture into the NBA forever. He wasn’t always the model citizen and he has had some conflicts during his upcoming. He didn’t always have things go in his favor but he always pushed through the adversity. Iverson’s rebelliousness is actually what made him stand-out and become so influential. He brought his own style and culture into the league and did not stop fighting until it was accepted and appreciated.
