Feeding an infant has its challenges. Some say feeding an infant formula is much easier, although research has shown that breast feeding is the best way to nourish a baby. As stated by Klossner (2006), new mothers are faced with a challenge of establishing the most appropriate method of feeding a newborn baby. Determining whether a newborn baby should be fed on formula milk or breast milk is a personal decision that a mother should make before the baby is born. Regardless of the fact that breast milk is considered the best nutrition, there are instances where a mother may be forced to feed the infant with formula milk.
