For this paper, you must first visit the Cincinnati History Museum at the Cincinnati Museum Center to see the Machine Tool Exhibit. IMPORTANT: Hang on to your ticket stub, because you will need to turn it in as proof of attendance to receive full credit. In addition to visiting the museum, you must research on your own machine tool builders who manufactured in the tri-state area both past and present.
The content of the paper should respond to the following question:
In your opinion, is Cincinnati still “the machine tool capital of the world”; why or why not?
You will need to use the information gathered from the trip to the museum, and your own research to support your opinion. In addition to the museum you need four (4) sources. Wikipedia can only count as one (1) regardless of how many articles you references/review.
Consistent with APA formatting guidelines, your name, the assignment name, and course information should be listed on a cover page not within the body of the paper. References for each in-text citation should be listed on a separate Reference page. Throughout your paper you should use your observations and sources to provide specific examples to support your claims.
The paper must be in APA format. The length of the paper should be 2-3 pages (4-5 pages with cover page and reference page). A minimum of 2 full pages of text is required to get full credit. A paper 1-2 pages in length will be worth 50%, and a paper 1 page or less in length will be worth 25%. Papers will be evaluated on the following criteria:

The paper must be submitted via the assignment link in Blackboard using Microsoft Word format (.docx) no later 5 minutes prior to the start of class on the due date. Blackboard will date and times stamp the submission. If you are not sure how to submit you must ask for assistance at least 72 hours prior to the due date. If you do not, and your assignment is late, it will be subject to the policies stated in the syllabus.
