The mother featured in the story is a typical African woman who has two daughter Maggie and Dee (wamagero) whom she loves equally despite their varying characters. In the story, she is given the role of the narrator whereby, she tell a story of her family of three two daughters and her. The narrator has true qualities of an African woman, she mention of herself as hardworking and strong woman who can with stand any condition both warm or cold , her strength allowed her to carry any activity…..
