Introduction
This crisis occurred when America’s U-2 spy plane discovered Soviet Union’s missile plants in Cuba. The national security assistant, McGeorge Bundy informed President Kennedy about the discovery in 1962 October 16th. President Kennedy met secretly with his advisors to discuss the discovery as he did not want the enemy to discover that he knew about their weapons.
