Introduction

King Ahaz had been worshipping fake Gods of the Baal for a long time. Isaiah had tried many times to persuade the King to turn to the true God Yahweh. King Ahaz despite the many forces that had threatened to annihilate his kingdom continued to believe in the false Gods. Ahaz had even gone to the extend of sacrificing his own son as a burnt offering to appease the Gods. Nothing really worked for him. It was at this time of desperation that Isaiah continued to persuade him. Isaiah told Ahaz to ask for a sign from God which Ahaz refused. He stated………………
