Based on reading the excerpts from Ignatiev’s How the Irish Became White, make relevant connections with the thesis conveyed in McIntosh’s “White Privilege: Unpacking the Invisible Knapsack” and experiences of ethnic groups (other than the Irish) depicted in ADM and the film “In the White Man’s Image.” Note a comparison necessitates at least two groups; compare more if you wish.

A Different Mirror Book – Basically talks about the immigration of Irish people and how they were treated better than African Americans and irish were given better opportunities than African Americans due to skin color.
