Conduct a Porter’s Five-Force analysis on one industry.

Evaluate each of the five forces. Determine relevant aspects of each force in the particular industry, and summarize with your evaluation of the strength of each force. Based on this analysis, determine the recommendations you would make for:

This is an invention of Harvard university business school professor named Michael E. Porter who came up with evaluative and analytical steps to measure industry performance and sustainability in terms of strengths and weaknesses (Porter, 1998). These steps are critical indicators used by managers that assesses the current performance in line with the actions taken by competitors.

My industry of choice in line with porter’s forces is the hospitality industry in the US. This industry continues to experience high level of competition with the current players inventing new and better products…..
