Introduction

The war in Syria began because of conflicts between the government and the rebels which have led to the loss of many lives and making others refugees. This grew to a civil war when the peaceful protests against the dictatorship of Assad led to the killings of Syrian citizens by the government. There have been several objections following to whether war can be considered lawful and just, or whether it is unjust. In Christian theory, two people that spoke of war were St. Augustine and St. Aquinas…..
