According to research it is evident that the American founding fathers consisted of a revolutionary group. However, this was a group of brave and intelligent men who had diverse professions, but  risked their precious lives, sacred and treasured honor working towards a common goal to create the greatest country on Earth. They well knew that the government only derived its legal powers from the consent of the governed citizens in simple they understood that the governed citizens had a say in the government that ruled them (799-816).
