Organize your letter by thinking of the question, “I’m starting the Pathways program next semester, what do I do? How do I get the most out of the semester?” Your letter/video should include:
a self-introduction giving some context for your letter
at least two direct quotes (“golden lines”) from your readings in College One this semester
a reference to any one of our guest speakers
a reference to something that you wrote in an RRJ, quickwrite, freewrite, earlier reflection in your ePortfolio, etc… and what that excerpt strikes you as significant
an explanation of what you have learned about successfully working in groups
explanations of 2 quality resources (articles, student/campus services, people, etc…) that can guide the future student in being successful and how you have used those resources
a description of at least one misconception you had about college that has been cleared up during your first semester

b) Artifacts: If you write a letter, include 2-3 artifacts that showcase resources you have used to be successful or things you want future students to know about. If you make a video make sure that your artifacts are showcased in the video in some clear way.
