This activity will involve researching the operation or a major component of a reciprocating engine.  Research concerning the operation of a reciprocating engine can be on valves, valve overlap, compression ratio, or the different types of horse power.  If you choose a component, you can conduct research on cylinders, pistons, camshafts, or crankshafts.  These items are suggestions. .
