Addition of marketing channels
Some argue that the addition of marketing channels/intermediaries simply adds costs…..basically it inflates the prices consumers pay for goods and services. It is worth noting that the prices one pays for goods could be marked up by 50%+ because of all the intermediaries touching the goods and moving them along the chain of distribution. So b/c of the intermediaries that are involved, that watch you paid $500 for maybe would have only cost you $200. Given this, in your opinion is it really worth businesses using intermediaries?
