Community Policing Proposal

This assignment is to create a Community Policing Proposal to a fictional community. (See Attached for Fictional Community to use.) The proposal needs to include the following elements:

A description of the community and its needs

A step-by-step implementation plan designed with the specific needs of your community in mind

A practical strategy that can be used to communicate your community policing model to the community and the law enforcement organization

Submit a draft of 1-2 pages of your Community Policing Proposal.

Create a PowerPoint presentation of 5–8 slides of your Community Policing Proposal that you could present to the law enforcement agency. Include the benefits that will manifest as a result of employing this plan. The presentation should demonstrate your knowledge of the community as well as a practical means for communicating the plan to the members of the police department and the community.
