For this assignment, I want you to look in your surrounding area at any sports team (of any division) and see what they are doing for this type of promotion. What events (brief description or photo) are they hosting, follow and report the engagement of their social media pages, peruse their website and critique it, and highlight the top three events/promotions/gimmicks that you are seeing out there that they are doing successfully.

Summary

This doesn’t necessarily have to be a sports team, you may explore and brainstorm ways in which revenue could be generated for MWR at your base, a non-profit organization, highlight what a Convention & Visitors Bureau may be doing well, or some other HSTM related entity.

This includes financials that have been “vetted” by the appropriate experts in that field. While interacting with any professional in your area, please be respectful and explain this is for a class project and may not be able to come to fruition.

The presentation can be power point or a written paper (1,200 word minimum/16 slides). This project should be detailed as it relates to the origin of the ideas, practicality/reality of the proposed revenue generators, implementation.
