Using the theories of population ecology, justify the establishment of fishing limits that are based on the number and the size of the fish

Using the theories of population ecology, justify the establishment of fishing limits that are based on the number and the size of the fish

When a person dies, muscles become rigid and fixed in position, a condition known as rigor mortis. Rigor mortis occurs because muscle cells are no longer supplied with ATP. Also, calcium flows freely into dying cells. Explain, in terms of the mechanism of muscle contraction described in this chapter, why the presence of calcium and the lack of ATP would cause muscles to become rigid, instead of limp, after death.

Using the theories of population ecology, justify the establishment of fishing limits that are based on the number and the size of the fish.

Causes of Rigor Mortis

According to Simon, Dickey, and Reece (2013), ATP also known as adenosine triphosphate is a primary source of energy for most body functions and is critical in muscle contraction as it supplies energy needed for muscle contraction by breaking myosin and actin which in turns produces energy for the body. It is the substance that helps Energy to flow to muscles and helps them work effectively .Myosin binds with actin and this process is aided by ATP which moves it to a higher state of energy….
