Along with Jews, which other Euro ethnic groups enjoyed upward mobility after WWII?

How fair is it to say that some white Euro ethnics became successful due to their own abilities and efforts? To what degree did government programs play a part in this upward mobility?

According to the article, how structural violence was manifested against African American and women after WWII?
